Pricing & estimates
Are estimates really free?
Yes. We visit your property, talk through what you want and send a written, itemized proposal within three business days. There's no cost and no obligation.
Do you charge for design?
Simple planting projects are designed free as part of the proposal. Full design plans with 3D previews start at $650, and that fee is credited toward installation if you move forward with us.
How do you price lawn maintenance?
By lot size and service level. Most ¼-acre properties fall between $189 and $349 per month from April through November, billed the same amount each month so budgeting is easy.
Plans & contracts
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Maintenance plans renew season to season, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Most clients stay for years because the yard keeps looking better.
Will I have the same crew each time?
Yes. Each property is assigned a crew leader who learns your yard, your gate code and your preferences.
What if it rains on my service day?
We reschedule to the next dry day, usually within 24 to 48 hours, and text you an update.
Warranties & guarantees
What if a new plant dies?
All plants and trees we install have a 1-year replacement warranty, as long as they're watered as recommended. Irrigation customers are fully covered.
Is hardscaping guaranteed?
Yes. Patios, walkways and walls carry a 5-year workmanship warranty against settling, heaving or shifting caused by installation.
What if I'm not happy with a service visit?
Let us know within 48 hours and we'll come back to make it right at no charge. That's our Fernwood promise.
Storms & urgent cleanup
Do you handle storm cleanup?
Yes. After major storms we prioritize maintenance clients for fallen limbs, debris removal and yard restoration, usually within 24 to 72 hours.
A tree came down on my house. What should I do?
First, stay safe and call 911 if anyone is hurt or a power line is involved. Then call your insurer. We can coordinate with a certified arborist for removal and handle the landscape restoration afterward.
Do you offer snow removal?
Yes. Seasonal contracts include plowing at 2" of accumulation, walkway shoveling and ice treatment, with priority routes for medical needs.
