FAQ · BEFORE YOU REMODEL
Good questions to ask any contractor.
Here's how we answer them. Want to talk it through? Call (555) 555-0129.
01
Budget & pricing
Is your price really fixed?
Yes. Once design is finished, you get a fixed-price contract with a detailed scope. The price only changes if you choose to change the scope, and every change is priced in writing before any work is done.
Is the consultation free?
The in-home consultation and ballpark range are always free. If you move forward, a design agreement covers drawings, 3D renderings and selections, and that fee is credited toward construction.
How do payments work?
A deposit at signing, then progress payments tied to completed milestones like rough-in and cabinets set. The final payment is due only after your walkthrough and punch list are complete.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with a lending partner offering home-improvement loans and HELOC referrals, with options for projects from $15k to $500k on approved credit.
02
Permits & process
Do you pull permits?
Always. We handle every building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit and schedule all inspections. Unpermitted work can cause problems when you sell or file an insurance claim.
Can we live at home during the remodel?
Usually, yes. We set up dust walls, protect floors and keep a clean, safe job site. For kitchens, we can help you set up a temporary kitchenette.
How much will I see the crew and project manager?
Your project manager visits the site several times a week, sends photo updates every Friday and keeps your online schedule current. Our superintendent checks in daily.
03
Warranty
What warranty do you provide?
A 2-year workmanship warranty on everything we build, plus the manufacturer warranties on products and fixtures, which we register for you.
What happens if something comes up after the warranty?
Call us. Past clients get priority service, and we're happy to come take a look. Plenty of our work comes from clients we've served for over a decade.
04
Urgent repairs
Do you handle water or fire damage repairs?
Yes. Our restoration team works directly with your insurance adjuster to scope, document and rebuild, and can often begin within a few days of approval.
What if something urgent happens during my project?
Every active client gets the superintendent's cell number. If there's an urgent issue on site, such as a leak or a power problem, we respond the same day.
