Do I need to be pre-approved before viewing homes?<\/h5>

It's not required for a first look, but in a competitive market sellers expect a pre-approval letter with any offer. We can introduce you to local lenders who turn them around in a day or two.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

How much do I need for a down payment?<\/h5>

Less than many people think. Conventional loans start at 3% down, FHA at 3.5%, and VA loans can be 0%. Putting down less than 20% usually means paying mortgage insurance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What are closing costs?<\/h5>

Fees for the loan, title, appraisal and taxes, typically 2\u20135% of the purchase price for buyers. Your lender will give you an itemised estimate early on.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
