About Northgate

Local agents. Real advice.

An independent agency founded in 2009 by two neighbours who thought buying and selling a home should feel a lot less stressful.

Our story

Started on Market Street.

Dana Whitfield and Marco Alvarez opened Northgate in a one-room office above a bakery. Fifteen years later, we're still independent, still on Market Street (just a bigger room) and still answering our own phones.

We cap each agent at a manageable number of clients, so you get attention, not a call centre. And we only recommend inspectors, lenders and contractors we'd hire ourselves.

How we work

Four things we promise.

Honest pricing

We won't inflate a valuation to win your listing. Overpriced homes sit, and that costs you.

Same-day replies

Calls and messages answered the same day, by your agent, not an assistant.

Local, for real

Every agent lives within ten miles of the office and knows the streets they sell.

With you to the keys

From the first viewing to the final walkthrough, one agent sees it through.

Our agents

Meet the team.

Licensed agents with deep local roots and very different specialties, so we can match you with the right one.
